Another new piece of jewellery by Austrian designer Thomas Sabo. I really wanted the crystal with the black zirconia encrusted raven perched on top, but at $700 (for just the pendant!) it was a little out of my world.

I love how they give the illusion of stretched lobes. And judging by the distinct gothic edge in Sabo’s Rebel At Heart collections, I would venture to say that’s exactly as he intended.

When I saw this tunic I think I had a panic attack. Not just because it had it’s own crazy in-built wings, but because it was also on sale for $30. It’s probably a little too short to wear as a dress but if it’s not too windy I can just get away with it.
I also couldn’t believe my luck when I sauntered into my local Sportsgirl store and found a few Nicholas Morely x Sportsgirl skull necklaces on sale even further down to a paltry $10. They were originally $140 so naturally I grabbed one, pulled out my plastic fantastic and gave it a swipe. I love how they can be joined together to create one super-long chain of awesomeness.
I very rarely find such excellent bargains, my head is still reeling! Here’s praying for more in my future.

I never took to the boho trend. No gypsy skirts or kaftans, no Sienna Miller hair, no cowboy boots and no ‘ethnic’ jewellery ever entered my wardrobe. So when I bought this shirt impulsively after seeing modelled so beautifully on the effortlessly chic Zanita, I’m not really sure what I was thinking. When it arrived my first instinct was to wear it with my resin-coated black jeans and combat boots. And it was perfect. It might be called the Boho Shirt but to me it couldn’t be more gothic/romantic. Now all I need is a cape and a raven.
