Fashion Journal

I spy with my little eye, the new Drown Shards ring on the cover of the new issue of Fashion Journal.
Just when I was considering painting my nails black again, this cover reminds me I’m still not over neon pink.
Fragments SS11/12

I’m very excited to announce the final chapter of the Drown Fragments collection. Taking continued inspiration from the organic geometry found in the detritus of industry, the spring summer collection focuses more heavily on gravel and crystallised steel as well as the original broken glass influence from winter. Pieces will be available to purchase from Alegorie and selected retailers from October.

Debris
Due to a manufacturing problem the Drown Fragments Debris Earrings never went into full production. I’ve always felt terrible that they’ve been unavailable despite being one of my favourite pieces in the collection so when I had an opportunity I redesigned the earring component so that I could make a few pairs for sale. They’re finally available on Alegorie and as they’re in serious limited quantities I recommend grabbing a pair while you can.
Drown Nebula Sample and Seconds Sale

While cleaning out my work table this afternoon I came upon an assortment of pieces from the Drown Nebula collection that had various imperfections and didn’t make it to sale.
I don’t really have the space to hold onto them and since I still get requests for certain styles that I can no longer make, I’ve decided to offer Sea Of Ghosts readers an exclusive opportunity to snap them up. As they have some aesthetic blemishes they are a fraction of the RRP – imperfect pieces at perfect prices!
Thank you to everyone who purchased a Drown Sample or Second – the sale was a big success with everything selling out in 5 hours! All orders have now been bundled up ready for posting. Australian orders are being sent by Express Post, International orders are being sent by Standard Airmail. For those who missed out today – there are a couple more samples lurking around and I will definitely list these soon so stay tuned!
Debris

Shortly after I first released images of the new Drown collection, I received an inquiry all the way from New York about the possibility of creating the Debris necklace in gold. The process of gold-plating the parts is fairly expensive which is why I never introduced it as an option on the mainline, but I was very happy to offer it as an option for custom production.
The striking golden tone is offset beautifully against the ambiguous clear perspex shards. It was a real pleasure to see the outcome and I hope that the lovely lady who commissioned it takes as much joy in wearing it as I did making it.
