I came to own this incredible leather sleeveless jacket via Nadia who traded me for some of my jewellery that she has not yet received because I am a shit friend. She picked it up at a Friedrich Gray sample sale but couldn’t find a way to work it in her wardrobe, and I for one could not have been happier to take it off her tiny tiny hands.

Originally the jacket didn’t close, and it came with a long sleeved sheer cardigan underneath. Once in my possession I immediately detached the cardigan and added a button clasp so the jacket would have a little more versatility. I love the washed leather and asymmetric cut of the piece, but the real feature is the parachute-style nylon piece sewn into the back of the garment that gives the jacket an incredibly unusual dimension of volume.

I’m not one for sleeveless jackets normally but there was no way I could turn down this avant garde beauty. Admittedly I haven’t experimented much with wearing it over winter, but spring is breaking through the bleak and I hope to have a little fun with it as the skies dry over the coming months.

Not a shit friend at all. Looking forwards to rocking some AHN though!
Love that you’re rocking the hell out of the jacket. BABE’N.

Such an unusual piece. That’s great you were able to make it work.

Is this the same sentimentally valuable supre skirt of many posts ago; the one you were once painfully considering whether it was too worn to keep? If so, glad to see you hung on.

So satisfying when little adjustments make something perfect. And congratulations on your feature, I had a sneaky read of it the other day.
