When I walked into Alistair Trung’s Melbourne concept store a few weeks ago I was not expecting to fall in love, but when my eyes fell across this quasi-quilt with sleeves I knew it was to be mine. What else for a chilly Melbourne day when you’re loathed to get out of bed, than to put on an outfit that feels as though you’ve never left it? The jacket came in a shorter profile too, but since I didn’t have anything quite like the long version in my wardrobe it was the natural choice.
