I’ve been honoured to receive some requests from readers and friends for custom jewellery pieces over the last few months. Sadly amidst the excitement of their creation I sent a few of them off before I thought to capture them with my lens, but here are two recent commissions that I’ve remembered to photograph before sending them on their way to their new owners.


Sterling silver textured thumb ring. The client liked the textured pieces I’d already posted such as the Relic Ring, but requested clean and straight edges on both sides of the band and a dark tone to the finish of the metal.


Sterling silver DOOM ring set. Modelled off the SONS rings from FX television show Sons Of Anarchy, I created these rings for the client using a CAD method to ensure the detailing on the lettering remained sharp and even. They were then finished by hand to get the rough, weathered texture and oxidised plate behind the text.

Holy shit balls, the doom rings. Always interesting to see pieces you make for clients, obviously personalized to their taste but retaining your style.

What beautiful pieces: it’s lovely that you are commissioned to do these – and that you can give it away. I wouldn’t want to let them go.
