Transience

“Oh! I love your jewellery – I read your blog! I didn’t realise it was you.”
“Ahaha thank you. Yes, I get that a lot; I have one of those faces. I look like I could be anybody.”
“Yes… you do have quite a transient face!”

Best facial adjective ever.
You made me smile all afternoon. Thank you.

And If You’re In The Neighbourhood…

If you’re heading out to bring me a coffee while I’m exhibiting at State Of Design this weekend PLEASE do yourself a favour and check out these two amazing sales right around the corner afterwards.

So disappointing that I can’t go!

Whenever I Forget

the ocean reminds me.

Disclosure

There has been increased agitation amongst blog readers lately regarding many blogger’s choice to monetise or advertise on their blogs. I was recently asked what my opinion was on monetisation and product placement on blogs and I responded with the contention that I support monetisation and product placement on blogs when it is infrequent and fully disclosed.

I am not a professional blogger but I am self employed. Any products or compensation I receive for blogging greatly assists my income. I try hard to  only accept campaigns that I feel align fully with my vision for Sea Of Ghosts or has a personal interest to me, and hope that my readership can appreciate this effort and, in the event they disagree with a campaign I have accepted; can look past that post without feelings of resentment.

As such, I am publicising a disclosure policy for Sea Of Ghosts so that we may have open and honest conversations now and in the future.
