WIN with Madman & Sea Of Ghosts

Coco & Igor tells the story of the tumultuous and passionate love affair between the two creative giants as a penniless Stravinsky and his family move into Chanel’s villa in Garches, 7 years after the disastrous reception of his work “The Rite of Spring.” Starring Mads Mikkelsen (CASINO ROYALE) and Anna Mouglalis (NOVO, and model for Chanel) and directed by Jan Kounen, Coco & Igor is a sensuous, beautiful film and will be in cinemas from April 15th 2010. It also features some original Chanel garments as well as a few pieces created specifically for the film by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Madman has generously sent me FIVE double passes for this exciting new film. To enter, just leave a comment with who you want to take to see Coco & Igor. Make sure to include a valid e-mail address so I can contact you if you’ve won. Entries close midnight, April 5th. Winners will be chosen randomly, and will be notified on April 6th. Sorry, this contest open to Australian residents only.

Eileen shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 11:42 AMI’ll take my husband whom I love to torture with anything fashion-related. He detests fashion but puts up with it for me. When we were in Paris on our honeymoon he even took me on a twisty road which ended up at Rue du Cambon… and bought me a 2.55. BLISS.

Julie shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 12:52 PMI’d take my friend Leanne, as we’ve been seeing these sorts of films for over a year now (ones not available from Hoyts/Village and the like..) – we’re pretty much documentary, biography, fashion film nerds. =P
liadanrue shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 1:37 PMI’d take my friend Celia, as we’re both interested in early twentieth-century culture. As music students, I can’t honestly believe it was never mentioned that Stravinsky was involved with Coco…intriguing.
Sam Twin Cat shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 1:38 PMAmazing, that Stravinsky song ‘The Rite of Spring’ was the first piece of music that my friend and I used in our grad year photomedia artworks! Because of that, and a shared interest in fashion, I would most definitely invite her to attend with me. xoxo
Emily shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 3:02 PMI’d take my friend Ruby. We’ve been chatting about this film over our partition at work since I read the book 2 years ago!
Jessie shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 4:00 PMI would love to take my good friend who I see every fashion related movie that comes out with. This looks enchanting!

Mary shared this comment on Apr 01 10 at 11:37 PMI would take my husband, one of the few non gay men that I know that would appreciate this film. Maybe we could make it a date night, pretty rare for us now that we have our two gorgeous little girls.

Sundari Carmody shared this comment on Apr 04 10 at 6:54 PMOh goody, I just discovered your blog. Great one!
I think I would take my usual cinema buddy, my boyfriend, because he is currently working on a film, and I am working on convincing him that fashion is beautiful too and my obsession with the French is not daggy. :)
Vanessa shared this comment on Apr 05 10 at 6:33 PMI would take my lovely friend Grace, who took me to the movies when she won a free pass and who also ADORES Chanel.
Carly Findlay shared this comment on Apr 05 10 at 10:26 PMHey there
I would take Callan Mulvey to see this movie.
I recently met him (http://carlyfindlay.blogspot.com/2010/03/celebrity-sighting.html) and he was utterly delightful. So nice and kind. And very cute!
Thanks for this competition, and for maintaining a gorgeous blog.
