Black Gloss

After quietly pining over this beauty for months, I finally designated the remainder of my birthday money on an Alpha 60 pleat scarf in black gloss. She’s such a show stopper and is easily manipulated for a variety of looks.
My precious.

My internet has been shaped for the month so apologies in advance for the slow-down in posting.

I love the alpha60 pleat scarfs, I have money set aside for one but just can’t decide which to get, the highly structured wool or more relaxed gloss. I’d love to know the reasoning behind your choice.

@ Kate – Good question! A few factors behind my choice, one being that my friend already has the wool version – this way we can swap if we want a change! But really what got me was fluidity of the fabrication and the differing tones from the front to the back. I love the graceful way it falls and curls. xo

oh my. I’ve wanted the alpha60 pleat scarf for a long, long time. this isn’t helping. I think I’ll go for the wool one when I get to Australia though, it’ll be better in the European cold.
the scarf is amazing and it suits you very well.

Lurve all the pleats. I have a gorgeous top from Sass and Bide that has major pleating on the shoulders. Love the texture.

This scarf is so classic Melbourne, isn’t it? From what is the gloss scarf made, if not wool?

I have a pastel peach Alpha 60 scarf I picked up in Melbourne last year and it’s definitely versatile… I am pining over your black gloss version though.
