Just Like You Imagined
I find it very inspiring to see my favourite artists’ process. This is one of my all-time favourite Nine Inch Nails songs. The first clip is the band rehersing the track. The second is the studio recording.
Heart wrenchingly beautiful.

UNFFF, how I wish I could watch this right now! Unfortunately, my wifi connection is a dinosaur. NIN is the only band that’s stayed with me from my teenage metal phase…because Reznor TRANSCENDS.
Also, omg you’re from Melbourne?? Did you grow up there? I lived in Brighton for 3 years as a child! I went to Firbank.
Thanks for posting this. Cool to see Trent in the studio. NIN = love…always..
I love the fragile.
And this song, it’s the most amazing thing to listen to when you’re driving really fast… feels like you’re in a video game (not that I am a speeder or anything…)
And oh boy do I love trent.
@ Juliana – Yes I am from Melbourne, lived here all my life
xo
Thanks for your comment my dear! You’ll be pleased to know that I have decided not to host any more US only comps after this one
You’re right, it doesn’t seem fair when it’s not a US blog x Sushi
i love those songs
I love and fear Trent Reznor. I call him Professor.
It’s fascinating to see the process behind this song. I’ve noticed that you’ve referred to a few songs off The Fragile. I’m glad to see someone else appreciates this record as it’s one of my favourites and often (unjustly) maligned.
