Just Like You Imagined

I find it very inspiring to see my favourite artists’ process. This is one of my all-time favourite Nine Inch Nails songs. The first clip is the band rehersing the track. The second is the studio recording.

Heart wrenchingly beautiful.

Sportsgirl Summer

The online editors at Sportsgirl sent me this sweet “we heart your blog” and asked me a few questions about summer.

What are you wearing right now?
A white mesh dress and black combat boots.

What tracks are on your essential summer playlist?
I’ve got the new Alice In Chains album, Black Gives Way To Blue on repeat in my car at the moment. Also Rival Schools’ only album United By Fate is one of my all time summer favourites.

What is your fave piece of clothing from the Sportsgirl summer collections?
The leather biker jacket. If you’ve ever experienced a Melbourne summer you’d know a leather biker is totally appropriate.

Describe your perfect summer day…
Getting up really early and going down to the markets to trawl for treasures. Then heading over to a nearby cafe for breakfast, before coming home and having a naughty afternoon nap with the sun streaming in through the window. So good!

I also received a Beautiful Blogger award from the lovely Steph from Eternal Masquerade, and the Best Blog award from Zeus. Thank you!

Because I Love You

I’ve been super busy these last few weeks secretly plugging away with my amazing programmer Brian, getting a brand new-look Alegorie website together with great new features. It’s been a lot of hard work and stress but it launched today and I’m super excited to share that. It’s so amazing to have all of your support, every morning when I find your sweet comments waiting for me in my inbox it really makes my day.

ELIZABETH & JAMES E-Send Wedges

I think the Elizabeth & James’ are the winners for me, but as much as I love my heels I don’t think I could handle such a steep incline, even in wedge form.
