Love Leather

I battled the crowds on Boxing Day but was feeling distraught that not only hadn’t I found any bargains, the only thing I had found was that the dress I’d bought last month and am saving for New Years was reduced by $80. Boo, hiss.
Right before I gave up completely I was coaxed into this little gem by my bad influence of a mother. As a leather lover from the womb, it’s difficult for me to resist leather products wherever I travel. I’m feeling conflicted over my non-Alegorie handbag purchase but I have very low inventory in the store at the moment due to Christmas sales and won’t be receiving any new collections until February. When I found this bag on sale for 60% off with it’s mixed leathers and aggressive hardware, I was fighting a losing battle anyway.
For those of you who ventured out on Boxing Day, tell me about your bargain buys!

cool top
That top is awesome! love how it has the ties at the chest. I am in love with your bag also
I didn’t do any boxing day shopping, but hoping to pick up a few bargains this week
I’m a new reader of yours, and I now confess I’m hooked! I like it that you combine more expensive brands with high street stuff like a bracelet from Cotton On. I think that’s what makes a personal style interesting–combining anything that looks good, not just looking at the brands and designers’ names.
The only bad thing about your blog—-it makes me miss Australia like hell. Thank God I’m going back in July, even if it’s just for a couple of months.
ooh that bag is AMAZING! what a find.
glad to see you survived the sales… they can get pretty scary. i stayed at home and shopped online!

the bag! the bag! i love monochrome colours, this outfit speaks volumes using minimal words. ♥
I love the bag!!
good choice hehe
I didn’t buy anything, I always find buying items at boxing day sales is more stressful than its worth. Plus working in retail (at David Jones) there’s also our stocktake sale coming up, so I find waiting is better (especially if I didn’t find the current collection of certain designers very appealing)
I thought the top was ksubi for a minute (they have a similar one but with pockets)
xx
Love this outfit, specially the top! Is it current MinkPink?? (seriously lemming one myself now!) x
I’m loving this outfit! I had the misfortune of being at the mall on both Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, but it was well worth it because I got some great deals.
I have had my eye on that same Mimco bag for a while! It’s gorgeous and it works amazingly with your style. Enjoy it!!!
I love that bag, it has quite a vintage vibe. Well done getting something decent in the sales, I usually give them a miss, they really annoy me and only have stuff I wouldn’t want anyway!!
Beautiful bag, I second your love of the ‘aggressive hardware’….
I too, shopped online this sale season – the elusive Boxing Day bargains seems to set you up for disappointment? Instead I trail-blazed through my local rural opshop with much success!
aaaah sucked in, they had that dress on sale at the summer fashion extravaganza for $40. it is mink pink.
I thought it was a dress…? well I’ve been wearing it as a dress, might just be because I refuse to wear pants.
@ Meridian – Sounds like fun! I think this one must be a top though because I only paid about $40 for it full price. I’d love to see it in a dress, it would be amazing. xx
oh god, i neeeed that top!!
