Absolutely obsessed with matte top coat – it gives any of your normal polishes a flat matte finish.

  3. I read about that nail polish, sounds fun! Does it look chalky though, like a chalk board? Haha, that’s how I imagine it to be, actually…and that is why I think it would be fun; chalkboard nails!

  4. That’s a serious collection of jewellery hardware there! The black nails are perfect clutching that epic gothic goblet.

  5. I love your sense of style, your blog is amazing.

  6. I think almost everything is better in matte…

Nail polish – photos – wallpaper – magazines

I’m thinking about getting back to doing my nails – maybe I should look into a matte beige or white….

    Thanks for the idea precious.

  7. @ Lady Smaggle – I’m not sure if it’s available in Australia yet, I had a friend in the US send me a polish care package! x

@ Maxine – Yes it does have an almost chalky finish, however I’ve used it over a gloss polish and found that in a few days it’s gone from very flat and chalky to a very flat but oily finish. I’m unsure how it would behave over matte polish. It is totally fun and unusual! x

@ana b – Thank you! This polish is actually a perfectly medium-gray shade, but I’m going to do black matte next. Very excited! x

@ georgina & Elo – Thank you so much! x

@ Grant – You should totally rock this gray. It’s tremendous, I can’t believe how many things in my wardrobe are this exact shade of gray it’s uncanny! x

  8. wow, thats heaps cool! I saw some matte opi polish at david jones the other day and was very curious! this seems like a much better idea though, just edit what you’ve already got… :)
