Last Sunday Lady Melbourne, Fashion Hayley and I met with our Spring Racing Style competition winners at Melbourne’s GPO where we shopped up a storm, each winner given a $500 GPO voucher to create their ultimate Spring Racing look.
My beautiful winner – Nadia – has very parallel tastes to my own so we were ideal shopping partners. We also discovered many common interests outside of fashion which bodes well for lots of shared adventures to come.
We decided on a stunning ruffled harness from Sass&Bide and a dramatic maxi dress from Manning Cartell. She looked like a gothic warrior goddess – I was so proud I almost teared up a little!
The best Australian fashion and wonderful company – definitely my preferred way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Melbourne.

This Prada look book from FW09 really resonates with me as a fashion lover and a designer. The beading and studded detaling on the outfits is perfect and the design elements overlayed and employed throughout give it a very interesting twist.
