love them! Been eyeing those for a couple of weeks now… They’re really similar to the ACNE ones… How’s the quality like? Is it comfy?

xo

@ Val – They’re leather upper but not lined. Considering, I’m really happy with the quality for the price. Very comfy, too. x

thanks! Do you find they run true to size?

V. tempted to get one now! :)

xo

val shared this comment on Oct 13 09 at 4:10 PM

@ Val – I would say no, I am normally an 8.5-9 AU and chose a 9 US, and they are about a half size too big. But I have popped an innersole inside and that has helped. If you get them let me know!! x

Gorgeous boots. Love. Also I entered the GPO competition thang and I’m not sure if it worked. I meant to post it on the wall but it went to the fan page or something… Anyways just wanted to check that it went through and I’m in the running. Chose you as my fav blogger FYI! xxx

Oh, hold me back. I’m trying NOT to get them because I need to save my money for Acne Atacomas! But you’re sorely tempting me…..

Nadia shared this comment on Oct 13 09 at 10:18 PM

sweet! they have sold out at oaknyc.. lucky you

Cox shared this comment on Oct 13 09 at 10:27 PM

@ Lady Smaggle – Yes it went through! Thank you so much for entering! xx

@ Cox – I’ve had them on back-order since August!! Definitely worth the wait, though.

@ Nadia – Oooh the Atacomas are amazing and dangerously out of my budget. Don’t settle if that’s what your heart is set on!

Oh… They are BEAUTIFUL!

How’s the comfort and quality?
I’m due a clothing allowance from work and these could well be my new pair of shoes…(!).

Amy shared this comment on Oct 14 09 at 1:27 AM

Ah. Finally someone posts a picture. I’m seriously stalking these shoes and my pair is suppose to arrive in a couple of days (hooray for fast international shipping). In the meantime, I shall be drooling over yours. They look awesome

Nice. I like them. I was eyeing a pair of new Jeffrey Campbell boots for men earlier today, and I had never heard of the name before. They’re perfect for you.

this shoe is pretty awesome! :) must have a look.

I also have these shoes and love how comfortable they are because I’ve heard different about the atomica wedges. I’ve been running all over town in these, they’re perfect! Plus, they’re all black unlike the ACNE’s and um, we saved $400. Hooray!

Beautiful. I recall that Jil Sander did something like this about three or four years ago. Love these, though. So chunky!

wow- finally a photo of someone WEARING them. are those a glossy leather? or felt? and are they really 4inches high?
they look amaaaaaaazing.

veronicahhh shared this comment on Nov 16 09 at 9:18 AM

@ veronicahhh – They’re only leather inner, the outside is a pebbled polyurethane. It’s deffinitely not a glossy material although the light does play tricks due to the pebbled texture. x

Hey. Love these shoes, actually looking into getting them myself, but slightly confused as to what size to get as differnt websites say differnt things about them. You said that your a 8.5-9 AU (me too) and chose a 9 US but that they are a half size to big, please tell me to go away if this question is too weird but how wide is your foot?

I just dont want to order the wrong size. Sorry for the question.

laura elizabeth shared this comment on Nov 16 09 at 6:34 PM

@ laura elizabeth – I have a slim-average foot with a particularly narrow heel that slips out of almost all shoes.
I found that at a half-size too big my heel slipped out of the bootie very easily because the angle of the opening is quite wide. When I put the innersole in I found that my heel slipped out less, but it does still slip a little (as it does in most shoes). I find them to be a good to slightly generous width. x

Awesome, thankyou so much. I was starting to panic slightly as one store just sold out of my size.

laura elizabeth shared this comment on Nov 16 09 at 7:24 PM

i received mine in the mail today! they are an awesome shoe. i read a comment up there about the sizes. i got size 8 and found that i might fit a size 7.5 but im going to put those suede ankle things in and it will be nice and snug. shoe conversions can be so difficult! i got mine from needsupply aswell. they have a great selection of items there. doing another order soon i think with a friend to save postage.

Hello,

Sorry to bother you but Iam really confused with the shoe sizing. Iam an 8 in most AUS shoes including tony Bianco. What size would you recommend I get for the Jeffrey Cambell?
